About Robert Bowman
Vice President
IT specialist by background. Responsible for day-to-day delivery on ClancyJG's FAA, NASA, and DoD contracts.
Robert Bowman is the Vice President of ClancyJG International. He has more than twenty years of hands-on IT and engineering experience, and the last eight have been spent running federal contracts for FAA, NASA, and DoD customers.
Our customers don't need another vendor. They need a partner who owns the outcome, returns the call before the deadline, and actually understands the systems on the other end of the contract. That's the standard at ClancyJG, and it's the one I hold myself to every day.

Mission-Critical Federal programs under his leadership
Robert holds an active security clearance and direct supervisory responsibility for roughly 80 full-time, part-time, and casual employees working from secure government installations and remote sites nationwide. He is accountable for cost, schedule, and technical performance on every contract ClancyJG delivers.
Active and former programs under his oversight include:
- FAA Controller Training Solutions (CTS), subcontract to SAIC as prime
- FAA Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Integration in the National Airspace System, prime contractor on a Time and Materials award with strong CPAR feedback from the government COR
- Air Traffic Control and Management Services, prime contractor for the Army National Guard Bureau
More than two decades in IT
Robert started in 2002 as a web developer at Stamps.com, building and maintaining the company's public site and running its affiliate and Pay Per Click (PPC) programs. He has stayed hands-on ever since. Linux server administration. Docker and containerized workloads. Proxmox virtualization. Networking. Modern web frameworks (React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS). Cloud platforms like Cloudflare, Vercel, and Supabase. MySQL and PostgreSQL. Including the Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines that tie it all together.
That depth shapes how ClancyJG approaches federal IT. Zero Trust isn't a checkbox on a compliance form. It's a posture Robert understands from the network and identity layers up, and one he can speak to in real terms with the customers we serve. When a program asks about modernization or secure remote work or identity that scales, the answer comes from an executive who has built those systems himself.
A career that built the operating discipline
Before ClancyJG, Robert spent nearly a decade in public safety at HigherGround, serving the 9-1-1 community as Senior Marketing Manager and later as Product Manager. He represented the company on the National Emergency Number Association (NENA) i3 architecture committee, contributed to NENA Industry Collaboration Events to verify interoperability across NG9-1-1 solutions, and built the RFP libraries, CRM systems, and proposal processes the sales and pre-sales teams depended on. That same builder's instinct is what he brings to ClancyJG contracts today.
Cleared and accessible
The clearance is current. The compliance work gets done. The harder part is staying accessible through every phase of a contract, owning the answer when the easy one isn't the right one, and returning the call before the deadline. Robert does that.
After hours
Outside ClancyJG, Robert is the volunteer IT Lead for multiple City Church locations in California. He designs and operates the AV production, live streaming, networking, and website infrastructure that supports multiple campuses and a congregation in excess of 500 members. Same posture he brings to federal work.
Why it matters for the programs we serve
Past performance, technical depth, and the certainty that the executive on the contract this year will still be the executive on the contract next year. That's what federal customers buy. Robert is the reason ClancyJG keeps being asked back.
